A Claude Code skill of field notes on Jev, TypeSafe's fast judgment model. It tells Claude which question shape fits which job, how to set a pass mark before the run, and which traps to check, with the measured result behind each piece of advice.
Why I built it
TypeSafe ships an official skill that teaches how to call the model. It cannot teach what went wrong for somebody who tried it on real work. This one carries what my trial learned the slow way, so the next person starts from the results and not from the mistakes.
Start here
- Download the repository as a ZIP, or clone it.
- Copy the jev-field-guide folder, found inside skills, into the skills folder inside .claude in your home directory.
- Open Claude Code and ask for help testing a use of Jev. The skill loads itself when the topic comes up.
- Install TypeSafe's official skill beside it for the details of the API.
What it does not do
It does not call the model and it holds no key. Its numbers come from one person's notes and session history, so treat them as a reason to test, not as a result to quote for your own data.
